McGennis Youth Center Fishing Day rescheduled

Due to the rainy weatheR, The McGennis Youth Center’s annual fishing derby will try it again this Sunday, June 15. Registration at 5:15 the fishing derby will run from 6 until 7 pm for children ages 3 to 15. The McGennis Youth Center is located five miles west of Righ Hill on A highway then four miles south on Route ww. Watch for signs.

Donna Faith Ammel, 96 of Parker, Kansas

Donna Faith Ammel, 96 of Parker, Kansas passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 at the University of Kansas Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. Private graveside services and burial will take place in Osawatomie Cemetery, Osawatomie, Kansas. Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.

Donna Faith Bradley Ammel was born March 22, 1930 in Haviland, Kansas, the daughter of Franklin and Mary Elliott Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and young son Dwight Ammel.

Donna is survived by her son David Ammel and wife Lynnette of Paola, Ks., son Milton Ammel of Parker, Ks., and daughter Miriam Ammel of Parker, Ks.
