Butler Bears Senior Night

Thursday was our senior night and our team had the privilege of honoring our 5 seniors this year; Ceceily Ford, Taylor Ketron, Keegan Lawrence, Parker Lawrence, and Drea Shreve-Setzer. Lady Bears emerged victorious over Rich Hill 12-8. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our team and to take part in our senior recognition ceremony.

Bats Blistered As Butler Lady Bears Varsity Defeats Rich Hill
There were runs aplenty on Thursday, as Butler Lady Bears Varsity defeated Rich Hill 12-8.
Rich Hill captured the lead in the first inning. Stangel drove in two when she homered in the first inning.
Butler Lady Bears Varsity took the lead for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Drea Shreve-Setzer singled off of Schmitt, driving in one run, Jayde Eidson singled off of Schmitt, driving in one run, there was an error, scoring one run, and Parker Lawrence tripled off of Schmitt, driving in two runs.
Rich Hill scored three runs in the second inning. The big inning for Rich Hill came thanks to a error and a single by Coppage.
Butler Lady Bears Varsity collected 13 hits. Taylor Ketron, Shreve-Setzer, and Katelyn McCrary each collected multiple hits for Butler Lady Bears Varsity. Shreve-Setzer, Lawrence, and Keegan Lawrence each drove in two runs to lead Butler Lady Bears Varsity.
Rich Hill had 11 hits in the game. Fuqua, Schmitt, Coppage, and Stangel each collected multiple hits for Rich Hill.
