Cattle Genetic and Reproductive Strategies Workshop/March 1; Pre-registration required by February 28th

Stockton, MO: Cedar County MU Extension Center and Council are presenting a Cattle Genetics and Reproductive Strategies Workshop that will be held on March 1st at the El Dorado Springs Youth Center – located at 508 North Main Street in El Dorado Springs – starting at 6:30pm.

Cedar County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist Patrick Davis and Dallas County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist Andy McCorkill will lead the workshop. Topics of discussion will include genetic tools and reproductive technologies that can be used to improve your cattle operation.

Missouri District 126’s Capitol Office Welcome New Staff

The Missouri District 126’s Capitol Office has welcomed Legislative Assistant Matt Glover Legislative Intern Bram Hubbard.

Matt is a graduate of the University of Missouri with previous experience working at the Capitol. Bram is a Butler High School graduate who currently is a sophomore at the University of Central Missouri and majoring in politics.

Patricia Pike Appointed to New Committee for the 2018 Session

Representative Patricia Pike has been appointed to the Special Committee to Improve Care and Well-Being of Young People, which will review legislation on child protection, guardianship, foster care, abuse and neglect, adoption and related topics concerning the children of Missouri.
