Butler: Community Cafe Revised Time and Places for April Meals

The Butler Community Café releases a revision to paper print advertising.

The April 3rd Community Café Dinner will be held at the First Baptist Church in Butler.

The April 10th Butler Community Café Dinner will be hosted by Medicalodges of Butler. The meal will be served from the Community Room at Medicalodges.

All Community Café meals are served from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm.

 

Cass County: Pursued Stolen Vehicle

Subject in Custody Following Pursuit

 

Cass Co – On Friday March 30, 2018 at approximately 8:00 am the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol pursued a vehicle stolen from Belton, MO.

 

Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle in the Dayton area, east of Archie when the suspect fled in the vehicle.  The suspect lead deputies from the Dayton area to the SE Outer Road north of Archie and continued north to East 283rd.  The suspect then drove off the roadway at which time the vehicle became stuck in a ditch.  The driver was taken into custody.

 

The driver, Michel S. Moorhead, 38 of Archie was arrested on a Bates County warrant for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, bond $12,500 cash or surety.

 

Moorhead is currently in custody at the Cass County Jail.  Charges related to today’s incident are pending.

Richard Dale Purkey,  I: statutory sodomy; II: statutory sodomy, III: statutory sodomy, IV: Felony endangering welfare of a child; V:  Felony endangering welfare of a child; VI:  Felony endangering welfare of a child; VII:  statutory sodomy; VIII:  Felony endangering welfare of a child; IX:  statutory sodomy; X:  Felony endangering welfare of a child:  XIII:  statutory sodomy; XIV: Felony endangering welfare of a child; XVII: failing to register change of residence; XVIII: failure to appear; found guilty, convicted upon pleas of guilty to the above offenses; sentenced to MDOC for period of 20 years on each of Counts I, II, III, VII, IX, XIII; 7 years on each of Counts IV, V, VI, VIII, X, XIV, ; 4 years  on each count of XVII and XVIII.  Sentences on Cts I, II, III, VII, IX, XIII are concurrent with each other, Sentences on Cts IV, V, VI, VIII, X, XIV, XVIII are concurrent with each other but consecutive to the sentences in Cts I, II, III, VII, IX and XIII.

 

St v. Kasey L Hogan, I: Felony poss of controlled substance, methamphetamines,  given SIS, placed on 5 years probation, CII: Misd. Unlawful poss of drug paraphernalia,  fined $300 and court costs, standard conditions of probation apply.

 

St vs. Michael D Leemasters, Felony stealing by deceit reduced to Misd. Stealing by deceit, sentenced to 6 mos, given SES, to pay restitution,  pay court costs.

 

St v. Victor Jhovany Recinos, I:  Felony poss of controlled substance, methamphetamines, guilty plea, given SIS, placed on 5 yrs probation, to do 150 hrs of community service,  II: Misd. Poss of drug paraphernalia, guilty plea, sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
