Altona 4-H Club Minutes

The Altona 4-H club met on September 11, 2019, at the Altona Community Hall. We kicked off our meeting by eating grilled hotdogs with all the fixings to welcome members back.    Then we said the pledges and then had roll call.  After we done the great roll call, Baxter gave the treasure’s report and we talked about getting a $350 donation from The Lions Club for helping at the tractor show.  We also received a donation from the Rollin Bobbins club. With that great news, all the kids got to tell what they did over the summer and they did some cool things. We must attend 6 meetings to be able to show at Bates County Fair.  Every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm is the Altona 4-H meeting at the Altona Community Hall.  4-H dues are $28 and are due by November 30th  and will increase after that date.  January 15th is the last day to change project(s).  We are going to have a weenie roast at the Bollings at 6:30pm on October 12th and it will count as an extra meeting. Families will need to bring a package of buns, chips and stuff for smores. The club voted to give back to the community and voted to pay 1 year’s worth of the water bill for the Altona Community Hall.  We held election of officers for the club. Eldon Piveral and Izzy Lowe were picked to be going to County 4-H Council to represent Altona 4-H, Stoffer Family is going to be reporting for the meetings each month,  Kameron Collier is President, Izzy is Vice President, Danni Bolling is Secretary and Jessie Lowe is Treasurer.  Meeting was adjourned at 7:48 and next meeting will be on October 9th at 7:00pm.
