Butler Bears Home Football Game, Friday, September 6th

The home season opening football game for the Butler Bears will be this Friday, September 6th in Butler against the Van Horn Falcons.  The game will start at 7 pm.  If you are unable to attend the game but still want to hear all of the action as it happens then tune in to FM-92.1 as we broadcast the game live.  You can also listen on the web as FM-92 streams the live broadcast, just go to www.921news.com and click on the listen live icon.  Let’s get ready for some football!

Adrian Silent Procession September 11th.

The September 11, Remembrance Ceremony will be hosted by the Adrian Fire Chief

Gary Dizney and the Adrian Fire Department. On Wednesday evening, September 11,

2019. The Adrian Fire Department along with our brothers and sisters from all branches

 of the emergency services will conduct the eighteenth 9-11 Memorial

Ceremony. 

Emergency vehicles will line up on Clark Street at 5:30 pm and starting at

 6:00pm.  A silent procession of emergency vehicles will make its

way from the Adrian Manor Nursing Home down to Main Street and then proceed out to

the Optimist community building where a special memorial ceremony will take place

starting at approximately 7 PM. 

The ceremony is open to the public and The Adrian

Fire Department encourageS everyone to come.  Come out and watch the procession

and then make your way out to the Adrian community building to enjoy a great

program.  During the program they will recognize all veterans and all military personnel

serving our country today.  The freedoms we have today are ours because of their

many sacrifices.  Please take a minute to say thank you to those brave men and

women.

Lowry City Corn Maze to Open September 20th

Lowry City is the main attraction for fall family-oriented attractions during the Halloween season. The Fun Time Farms Corn Maze is the brainstorm of Kalberloh, family.

Jim Kalberloh is just one of 11 family member partners involved in the creation of this ten acre corn maze located in Lowry City.

Fun Time Farms Corn Maze is located north of Lowry City and is open weekdays for field trips and reservation groups and weekends for individual and group maze tours. Fun Time Farms, welcome the public, site seers and school field trips. The elementary education campaign, includes customized ag- in the classroom lesson plans. The agricultural passport integrates education into the Lowry City Fun Time Farms ten acre corn maze, the agricultural education helps guide students along the pathway of the corn maze and for the weak at heart. Corn maze assistants are on location to help you find your way out of the maze, should you get disoriented.

Clues and hints along the trail, lead you to the end of the 3- mile maze. The addition of a 40 foot slide and a viewing maze bridge that overlooks the entire field, the super pillow and corn box.

Fun Time Farms in Lowry City will be open September 20TH  through October 27TH 2019  . The Maze will be open  Friday evenings from 5 to 10 pm and Saturday’s hours from noon till 10 pm. Fun Time Farms will be open  Sunday afternoons from 1-6 . General  Admission is $10.00  dollars per person and children under 3 years old are admitted free.  “ Sunday Admission Prices” all ages are admitted on Sunday for five dollars each.

2019 Foster Days

The 2019 Foster Days is Saturday, September 14th.  Events start in Foster at 9 am with sand volleyball and 3 on 3 basketball at 10.  Tractor pull weigh-in, kid games and concessions start at 11 with the tractor pull beginning at noon.  Play in the bounce house or cool off with a sno cone all day and then at 5:30 pm there will be a free will donation BBQ dinner. Make sure you bring your lawn chairs and plan for a full day of fun at the 2019 Foster Days, Saturday, September 14th.
