Appleton City PTO Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

Vendors are needed for the upcoming PTO Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. All the fun will take place at the Appleton City High School gym and commons area on Saturday, December 7th from 9am – 2pm. There will be hourly door prizes, and you need not be present to win. This fun event is free of charge.

Donations will be accepted, this event will help continue the PTO’s capital improvement campaign to help the school. All on Saturday, December 7th from 9am – 2pm at the Appleton City High School gym.

4-H Leadership Training

There will be a “Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way” 4-H Leadership training on Saturday, November 16th from 9am – 12pm at the Happy Hill Church of God.

This training is for all club leaders, project leaders, club officers, and any 4-Hers wanting to develop their leadership skills.

You will need to bring an open mind, great attitude, paper and pen/pencil for the morning.

Veterans Day Service on the Butler Square

The Annual Veterans Day Service will be held on Monday, November 11th on the Butler Square. This is always a moving tribute for our Veterans, the laying of the wreath at the foot of the Dough Boy Statue.

The National Anthem leads the wreath ceremony at 11am performed by the Butler Bear Brigade. The guest speaker is Rev. Dan Ver Woert from the Hillside Assembly of God Church, and taps will follow the speaker.

Everyone is invited to attend this special tribute to all veterans on Monday, November 11th as we salute our veteran heroes.
