Grief and Loss Support Group

The Bates County Memorial Hospital will be hosting a Grief and Loss Support Group for all who are struggling to cope or just need to talk through their grief or loss. The group is open to those who have lost a loved one, or are experiencing grief or loss due to other traumatic life events. It is common to experience grief after a divorce, job loss or a move. At the first group attendees will introduce themselves and you will be invited to share your story. This group meets every second Thursday of the month. Light snacks will be served.

Santa is Coming to Miami R-1 School

Santa is coming to the Miami R-1 school on Wednesday, December 18th at 9:30am.

You can help the seniors raise money for their senior trip and have a keepsake of your child visiting with Santa, and the cost is only $3.00.

Photos will be sent home with students by Friday, December 20th, just in time for a Christmas present.
