The Knights of Columbus will have their monthly pancake and sausage breakfast at the Knight’s Hall in Montrose on Sunday, November 8 from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.  Treat your family to a hot breakfast you don’t have to cook or clean up.  A free will donation will be greatly appreciated

Montrose Athletic Booster Club’s Kickin’ Chicken Fundraiser Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 from 5:00—8:30 (or until sold out) at Montrose High School—Curbside to go service ONLY.  The $10 cost per plate includes 2 pieces Perryman fried chicken (choice of white or dark meat), mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll, and chocolate sheet cake. *Sorry NO Special Orders and NO Children’s Menu*.

Vendors are wanted for the 4th Annual Appleton City PTO Holiday Shopping Extravaganza Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the ACHS gym and commons area. There will be a variety of vendors setup and ready to share their holiday specials.  If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact Jennifer Hawkins at jenniferhawkinstriplehfarm@gmail.com or 417-359-3846.  Also, follow the AC Elementary PTO Facebook page and you will find additional vendor and event information. There will be hourly door prizes (need not be present to win) and the event is free of charge for the community to attend, Donations will be accepted, as this event is earmarked to help continue the PTO’s campaign of capital improvements to the school.

Christmas Decorations are wanted. If you have any old/unused/ready to trade out Christmas decorations, consider donating them to Appleton City PTO for their up-cycled Holiday booth at the 4th Annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza during Christmas in the Country December 5. Donate by dropping off items at the elementary office or sending with your student now through November 30.  They appreciate any and all donations.

Appleton City High School will sponsor a drive through Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner December 9, 2020. With COVID precautions in place, ACHS wants to keep tradition alive for their annual Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner. Come through the circle drive to get a to-go traditional Christmas meal from the ACHS students. Meals will start being served at noon. Please RSVP to 660-476-2161 by November 27.

Plan to attend the upcoming Night Of Worship at the Osceola Assembly of God Church Sunday, November 8. Youth pastor Kenny Fergerson is inviting youth groups and individuals (parents are welcome to stay) from the surrounding area to join him and speaker Brad Keller as they bring a powerful, timely message to the youth. This will be a time of worship and revival. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and a light meal will be served from 4:30 to 5:30, followed by the praise and worship team and speaker. Safely measures will be in place. Masks are optional. RSVP is not required but helpful in planning for meal preparation.
