Immanuel Baptist Church Cancelling Thanksgiving Dinner

Immanuel Baptist Church of Butler hates to do this, but after some discussion it was decided to go ahead and cancel the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Hill Church has shut down due to Covid19 and we want to honor that. Immanuel Baptist Church also had enough concern to make it hard to gauge interest in the event.

They apologize and are sorry for any inconvenience. If you have nowhere to go this Thanksgiving, please let them know and they will figure out alternate plans

Clinton School Covid19 Update

The Clinton School District has received confirmation of 6 positive COVID-19 cases. The buildings affected are Clinton Intermediate School, Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School. This brings the total number of active cases to 53 (44 of which are Clinton School District individuals).

The Henry County Health Center is in the process of conducting contact tracing, most of which is complete.

The Clinton School District has been in constant communication, and cooperating fully, with the Henry County Health Center as they perform the necessary contact tracing and we will continue to follow their guidance.

The Henry County Health Center is responsible for contacting students/staff who need to quarantine due to close contact with the individual who tested positive. If you are not contacted by the Henry County Health Center or the school district instructing your child to quarantine, your child can continue to attend school.

The Clinton School District is following cleaning and disinfecting procedures so that schools can remain open.

Clinton School District students, staff, and community members should continue to use the Daily Self-Screening Checklist found below and should stay home if displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

As we navigate situations such as this, please be assured that the health and safety of our students and staff are of utmost importance.

If you should have any questions, please contact your child’s school nurse or the Henry County Health Center (660-885-8193).
