Pancake Breakfast in Adrian

Adrian Cub Scout Pack 238 will have a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday May 1st at the Wine Journal on Main Street in Adrian.  Pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee, and milk will be served from 6am to 10am.  Carry out orders will be available.  Ticket for Pancake breakfast are $6.00 for Adults,  $4.00 for ages 4 to 12 years old, and Under 3 are free. 

Henry County Sheriff Public Service Message

The Henry County Sheriff’s office reminds you when using public restrooms to not pick up anything you see.  Recently in a convenience store restroom someone found 12 grams of crystal meth, which to a child would look like rock candy.  Always go with your young children into public restrooms and be aware of your surroundings.

Fort Scott Good Ol’ Days Festival

Fort Scott Good Ol’ Days committee is counting down the days to this years festival. They have been planning for months for our 2021 festival. Fort Scott Good Ol’ Days talent show will be Thursday June 3. Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5 are packed full of events. The wonderful carnival will return all weekend. New program aimed at making you ‘Money Smart’

Care Connection is offering a new virtual program on Zoom to help older adults make sound financial decisions.

“Money Smart for Older Adults” will teach you important points to consider in planning for a more secure financial future. Topics covered include how to guard against and report identity theft and other forms of financial exploitation or scams and how to prepare financially for unexpected life events and disasters. Part 1 covers Financial Exploitation and Identity Theft and Part 2 covers Preparing for Unexpected Life Events.
