Cattlemen serving in Rich Hill this Saturday
The Bates County Cattlemen will be serving lunch in Rich Hill on Saturday, June 19th. Serving starts at 10 am until the food is gone. Ribeye’s $8.00, Smoked Beef $7.00 and Burgers for $5.00. Meals include chips and a drink. Look for the Bates County Cattlemen in Rich Hill next to Pumpin’ Petes and just east of the old gas station. See you Saturday in Rich Hill.
Benefit for Doug Robey

There will be a Benefit Raffle for Doug Robey, a local boy, to help with expenses for his family. Doug has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
In 2020, Doug began to fight the toughest battle of his life, cancer. He went through the strongest doses of chemo and radiation that can be administered, yet he continued to go to work to provide for his family. Doug is a family man. He works hard to provide for his family, wife Kacie and their children, Zayne (14) and Bryleigh (12).
Between surgeries, chemo treatments, and radiation he was also diagnosed with COVID -19. Again, Doug pulled through stronger than ever.
After Doug’s terminal cancer diagnosis fundraiser began to help his family.
There is a GoFundMe Page, Support the Robey Love Fund, a Love Fund account set up at Community First Bank in Butler, and a Benefit Raffle.
Ticket for the benefit raffle is $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00 each tickets enters you for a chance to win a quarter of a beef donated by Kohler Farms, and 2 chances at a half hog donated by Woodward Farms.
Ticket for the Doug Robey Benefit Raffle are available at all three Adrian Bank locations, The Wine Journal in Adrian, Woodward Meats in Archie, and The Alley Tavern in Butler.
Drawing will be Sunday, July 11th and winners will be contacted by phone.
