Butler: Veterans Day Ceremony American Legion

The American Legion extends an invitation to the public. Your presence will be appreciated on the Butler Courthouse lawn, November 11th for the annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

The Butler Bear Band Director, David Ross will have the Butler Bears Band on location for several musical selections.

The Master of Ceremony will be Ron Nissen of Butler.

The Veteran’s Day Guest Speaker is Gary Grigsby, the Missouri Department Commander of the American Legion Organization.

The Veterans Day Ceremony will start at 10:30 and last until approximately 11:15. The event will be held at the Gazebo on the Butler Square.

The public is invited and remember to bring a lawn chair.

Butler Center Honors Veterans

The following public service message is a courtesy of Max Motors of Butler.

The Butler Center wishes to honor all the Veterans on November 11th.

All Veterans are invited to stop by the Butler Center at 416 South High Street between 10 and 11 am for free coffee and donuts.

Thank you for your service and the Butler Center hopes to see you on Thursday, November 11th .

Adrian Community Library Soup and/or Chili Supper

The Adrian Community Library invites you to their chili and soup supper, complete with Homemade desserts.

Serving starts at 4:30 until 7:00 pm from the kitchen of the Adrian Optimist South building.

Adults $7.00 per dinner, Veteran’s $3.00, and children 5 through 12, $3.00 and under 3 years old eat for no charge.

Masks are optional. Dine-in or Carry-out from the Adrian Community Library’s fundraising soup and chili supper

Friday, November 5th starting at 4:30. Your dollars will be used for the new building renovations.

Butler Senior Center Re-Opening for Lunch and Recreation

The Butler Senior Center will be opening on November 8th for lunch and recreation. 

There will be a public Friends of the Butler Senior Center board meeting, and if there is anything diners would like to say about The Center, they are more than welcome to do so once they make the request to the Board President, Bryan Tippie.
