The Butler Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, December 4th. The parade theme is “ A King is Born”. The parade will line up at the Bates County Fairgrounds, due to the construction at the Butler High School.
Organizations, individuals, businesses and churches are invited to prepare a float for the parade. There will be a 1st place only $50.00 cash prize money and a Grand Champion Trophy that stays with the winner for one year.
The 2021 Parade Marshals will be Chad Anderson, Jerrett Wheatley and Jason Bennet.
A soup supper will be served from the Butler Chamber of Commerce Office on the East side of the Butler square, prior to the parade. A free-will offering will be appreciated for your choice of a 12-ounce cup of soup and crackers. Select from Chicken vegetable soup, potato soup, chili, or cheeseburger soup
The parade will leave the fairgrounds around 5:30, to arrive on the square by approximately 6 pm. Santa will be the main attraction and will be accepting visitors in his house on the courthouse lawn following the parade.
