And First place in Family/Vehicles was Kenneth McGuire and his family in their Volkswagen Bug.

The Butler Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who participated in the Christmas Parade and everyone who came out to enjoy the evening.

Human Remains Identified in El Dorado Springs, MO

EL DORADO SPRINGS, Mo. (KY3) – Police identified human remains found in El Dorado Springs in late September.

Investigators say the remains are Timothy N. Taber, 56, of El Dorado Springs. Investigators say Taber was reported missing in March.

Officers responded to a call on September 29 about possible remains found in the 1300 block of South First Street. The area is a field near the Dollar General store. Investigators do not suspect foul play. The Missouri Highway Patrol and the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office assisted police in the investigation.

Rollover Accident in Cass County

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported to a one car accident on Sunday, December 2nd at MO 7, East of Orchard in Cass County at 12:35am.

The accident occurred when a 2019 Jeep driven by Mary Stark, 76, of Raymore travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. 

Mary Stark sustained serious injuries and was taken to Research Hospital by EMS.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by J’s Southland
