Butler: Hiring Code Officer

The City of Butler is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Administrative Department for a Codes Officer. 

The salary range is $35,000 to $45,000 per year depending upon qualifications.  We offer employer fully paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance and the MO LAGERS Retirement system.  Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Butler Rotary Fundraising Breakfast

The Butler Rotary Club is selling admission tickets to the March 12th Pancake breakfast. The breakfast will be served from the Butler Senior Center.

Adult tickets are $6.00 each, children ages 4-12 are $4.00 each, ages 3 and under are admitted free.  It’s Pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and/ or coffee.

Bates County Fair Board Presents Tail-adega Nights

The public is invited to Tail-adega Nights Mouse races, Saturday, March 12th, 5:30-midnight in the Bates County Fair building.  Tickets are $25 at the door and you get dinner, all you can drink beer and register for prizes.  You must be 21 to enter.  Listen and dance to Honky Tony Dreams after the races.  All proceeds go to the maintenance and construction of the youth fairgrounds.  Tail-edaga Nights Mouse Races, Saturday, March 12th.  For more information, go to 921news.com.
