No Butler Alumni Events for 2022

The Butler Alumni Association is announcing that there will be no Alumni sponsored events this year.

If this is your reunion year it is possible that your individual class maybe having a reunion, so they suggest that you contact your class members about that.

Again, there will be no Butler Alumni sponsored events for 2022, no meeting, no afternoon tea, and no parade.

The Butler Alumni Association hopes to bring back the alumni events next year.

Butler Citywide Garage Sale May 14th

Big Creek Theatre, 40 Years of Entertainment

In our local news today we feature a hidden secret in the city of Pleasant Hill. Big Creek Country Theatre, now in its 40th year is located on Main Street in Pleasant Hill. This theatre is country music and comedy at its finest for wholesome family entertainment.

Big Creek Country Theatre seats 400 family and friends for an evening of musical entertainment by local country music artists from our 8 country area.

The Theatre features three different local country musical guests each week, with an oldies show on stage once a month. 

Country Music Artists hit the stage at 7:30 every Saturday night for 2 ½ hours of the best in country music and comedy acts.

Admission is $12.00 per person with children under 12, admitted for $5.00. Big Creek offers a cash prize drawing at the end of each show with ten dollars added money weekly to the cash pot.

The Big Creek concession stand offers soft drinks, coffee, candy and fresh popcorn made nightly.

This theatre is smoke and alcohol free. Guests may purchase tickets at the door in advance or from the Bargain Buy Show at 92.1 Radio Station.

Cornhole Fundraiser for Kendal Saathoff

Kendal Saathoff, a lifelong resident of Adrian, is facing some unexplained health issues.

Kendal became ill with an unknown disease and has not worked since January. Doctors are working diligently to find a diagnosis for Kendal, he will be travelling to Mayo Clinic in June.

Without being physically able to work and mounting medical expenses the community of Adrian will host a Cornhole Tournament with all the proceeds to go the Kendal.

The Cornhole tournament will be on Sunday, May 15th at the Adrian Optimist Building, South end, with registration at 3:30pm and tournament to begin at 4pm.

Cost for your team to entry the cornhole tournament is $50.00 and you may also purchase a bottomless cup of beer for $10.00.

This Fundraising event is for Kendal Saathoff of Adrian.
