65 Years of Marriage and Going Strong

Today the Butler Senior Center was honored to celebrate Stacey and Erma Hutton 65th wedding anniversary.

This celebration was a surprise to the Hutton’s. They went to the Butler Senior Center to have a meatloaf dinner and play in a puzzle tournament. Just a normal day of having lunch at the Butler Senior Center.

The Butler Senior Center could not let this anniversary pass without celebrating Stacey and Erma.

Stacey has been on the Butler Senior Center board for twenty plus years, he is also Bates County representative on the regional board with Care Connection.

Stacey and Erma have lived in Butler for many years, raised their family here and owned and operated the Uptown Laundry until they retired and sold their business.

Even being busy business owner the Hutton’s always found time to support and volunteer at the Butler Senior Center.  Erma spent many hours volunteering in the kitchen and making sure everything was clean and ready for the next day after fundraising.

Congratulations to Stacey and Erma Hutton on 65 years of marriage.

Jennifer Klinksick Chief Nursing Officer at BCMH

Bates County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Klinksick, RN, to Chief Nursing Officer. Jennifer assumed her new role on June 1. The position was previously held by Rebecca Tarver, RN, who retired after a 13-year career at BCMH.

Jennifer joined BCMH as a staff nurse in 2007 and has been promoted several times, assuming leadership roles in nurse management. Her most recent position was Nurse Manager for the inpatient and critical care units.

“I am excited to start this new journey and to help others grow in the organization,” Jennifer said. “My career as both a registered nurse and as a nurse manager at Bates County Memorial Hospital has shown me how truly special our community is. I look forward to working closely with the BCMH leadership team to continue seeking every opportunity to improve the health of our community.”
