El Dorado Springs man arrested for Terrorist Threats in VernonCounty

An El Dorado Springs man is being held in the Vernon County Jail as a result of threats
that were made against the Juvenile Office at the Vernon County Courthouse last week.
Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said his office was notified last Thursday, June 9th
of a possible threat being made and assigned his investigations unit to the case. Mosher
said the doors to the courthouse were locked that day and security personnel in the
courthouse were placed on alert out of an abundance of caution while the investigation
was being conducted.
The investigations unit, working with Cedar and St. Clair Counties began gathering
information and monitoring the movements of the suspect involved in the threats. On
Monday the 13th Detectives and members of the Sheriff’s Office tactical unit responded
to a residence on South 2581 Road in rural Milo, MO and placed the suspect under arrest.
The suspect, identified as 43-year-old David A Arduser Jr of El Dorado Springs, MO,
was charged with Terrorist Threat – 1
st Degree and Tampering with A Judicial Officer.
Arduser Jr also had outstanding warrants from St. Clair County and was out on bond
from Cedar County on charges that included Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and
Domestic Assault 2nd
Arduser is being held in the Vernon County Jail without bond on charges related to this
incident. Mosher said the details of the exact threats being made have not been released
pending the completion of the investigation and the following criminal proceedings.

Carole Anne Stewart, 84, of Harrisonville

Carole Anne Stewart, 84 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Golden Years Extended Care and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.  Cremation, with private family services to take place at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (816-657-4400).  Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.

Carole was born on the 30th of November 1937 in Streator, Illinois, to Joseph and Anna (Babey) Kolesar.  She was united in marriage to Cleo Stewart, until his passing.

Carole enjoyed brightening the day for others by making personalized greeting cards for almost any occasion, she loved playing cards, listening to country music, especially the older type, and watching sci-fi movies with family.

Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Stewart in 1982; her mother, Anna (Babey) Kolesar; her father, Joseph Kolesar, son Donnie Otis Roberts Jr., grandchildren Mickey Roberts and Destany Roberts Fisher, sister Veronica Kolesar, and brothers Jerry and Fred Kolesar.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Mahoney, son Robert “Bro” Roberts and wife Mary, brothers Larry Kolesar, Anthony Kolesar, grandchildren Shelby Roberts, John David (Christopher) LeBuhn, Thomas Mahoney, Charles Mahoney, and Carolyn Mahoney, along with several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Multiple Injury Accident in Henry County

The Missouri Highway Patrol with the assistance of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, June 14 at 7:52am on MO 7 at Route U.

The accident occurred when a 2021 Kia, driven by Doreen Gibbons 58 of Clinton Missouri, failed to yield at a stop sign.  The Kia turned into the path of and was struck by a 2012 Ford, driven by Danna Leimkuehler 52 of Clinton Missouri.

Doreen Gibbons received serious injuries and was taken by air EMS to CenterPoint Medical Center in Independence.

Danna Leimkuehler received minor injuries and was transported to Cass Regional Medical Center by EMS.

Two occupants with Leimkuehler an infant male and 4-year-old girl both from Urich Missouri, had minor injuries and were taken by private vehicle to Cass Regional Medical Center.

The Ford was towed from the scene by Deepwater Towing and the Kia was towed from the scene by Cole Tire and Battery Tow.
