A Cornhole Tournament is on the Bates County Fair schedule for Friday, July 8^th, at 11:00. The tournament is hosted by Bates County Farm Bureau, for 4-H and FFA members up to age 18 only.

Various prizes will be awarded during the tournament. One lucky team will receive the grand prize of $50.00 dollars cash. Teams of 2 should register by 10:30 on July 8^th, prior to the tournament.

The Bates County Farm Bureau Cornhole tournament will be held Friday, July 8^th, at 11:00 pm. The action will take place just south of the sale arena in the grassy area.

The Nevada Griffons and Nevada Eagles #3770 invite the public to a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, Thursday, July 14^th from 5:45 to 7 pm. 

The dinner will be held in the back hall of the Eagles lodge located at 3313 East Austin in Nevada.  The cost for the dinner is $7.00 per person.  Tickets can be purchased at each Nevada Griffons home game, Nine Patch Quilts in Nevada, and at the Nevada Eagles lodge. 

The Griffons players will be available for a meet and greet and autographs.  All dinner proceeds go to help support the Nevada Griffons.
