Due to inclement weather, the Butler Bears and the Adrian Blackhawks have decided to cancel their District football games scheduled for tonight, November 4th until Saturday, November 5th. The Bears will play in Butler with kickoff at 1 pm. This game can still be heard live on FM 92.1 or on the web at 921news.com.
The Adrian Blackhawks will play at 3 pm with the gates opening at 2 pm in Adrian.
The Bates County Elks Lodge # 2653 is hosting its annual Veterans Day Dinner on Sunday, November 13TH at the Bates County Elks Lodge, located just south of the Bates County Museum on Elks Drive in Butler. The meal will be served as a dine-in or drive-thru only from 11:30 until 1:00 pm. The meal is free for Veterans and their spouses.
This dinner is for Veterans and their families to come out and have a nice meal in honor of their service to our country. This year a Turkey Dinner will be the main course with the traditional Thanksgiving sides.
