Bates County Route B now Open

 TRAFFIC ALERT: Bates County Route B/Marais des Cygnes Bridge East of Rich Hill OPEN to Traffic

Where: Bates County Route B bridge over Marais des Cygnes River east of Rich Hill

When: As of Saturday, October 21

Details: This bridge was part of a three-bridge contract to replace two bridges on Bates County Route B and rehabilitate one on Bates County Route BB.

In addition to replacing the Marais des Cygnes River bridge, the contractor also installed new barrier walls and guardrail at the ends of the bridge. The new bridge is four (4) feet wider than the old structure.
