PAROLE FOR LARRY BECKHAM DENIED

A parole hearing for convicted sex offender Larry Beckham was held in Jefferson City, Missouri Tuesday October 3, 2023.

 

Prosecutor Hugh C. Jenkins and the victim in this case were present at the hearing.  Jenkins and the victim both made statements to the Parole Board voicing their objections to Beckhams release. 

 

Beckham was convicted on two counts in January of 2020 and was sentenced in July of 2020.  Judge Brandon Baker sentenced Beckham to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. On  Count 1, 10 years for 1st Degree Statutory Sodomy and 5 years on Count 2 for the 1st degree child endangerment conviction. The sentences were ordered to run consecutively.

 

Prosecuting Attorney Hugh C. Jenkins was notified on Thursday that parole was denied.  It will be 4 more years before Larry Beckham will be eligible for parole again.
