ADRIAN VETERANS MEMORIAL CEREMONY MAY 25th 2024
The 2023 Adrian in Veterans Memorial
Ceremony will be held May 25th at 10 am at the Memorial Site in
Adrian. The Adrian VFW Post will host the Ceremony. A special Prisoners of War
and Missing in Action Ceremony will be held. The 2024 Guest Speaker will be Cornel
Drew Mirowitch Captain of the Unit that saved the “Blackhawk Down “ .
The Adrian Veterans Memorial is
located ¼ mile east of Highway 18 in Adrian. The Veterans Memorial sits on land
that now houses a stone which honors Veterans heroes and wars regardless of the
war service and includes name, rank, unit, and years of service. Engraved bricks to honor Veterans are on
display. To date, there are 1053 bricks on display.

Bricks may be ordered at the cost of $50.00 per brick. The sale of Memorial Bricks
is an ongoing project with bricks added to the memorial continuously.
