NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
FY 2025-2026 CITY BUDGET
The governing body of the City of Butler will
meet and hold a budget hearing on Tuesday the 18th day of March 2025 at 7:00
p.m. in the City Council meeting room located upstairs in City Hall at 22 West
Ohio St., Butler, Missouri. The purpose
of the hearing will be to answer questions from the taxpayers relating to the
proposed use of all funds in the FY 2025-2026 City Budget.
Budget Information:
FY 2025-2026 City Budget – All Funds –
Consider appropriating $16,302,001 for maintenance and operation work performed
by the various City Departments and for other improvements that are utilized to
provide services to the citizens of Butler. The budget year is April 1, 2025 –
March 31, 2026.
Any written comments received at City Hall
prior to the budget hearings will be provided to the governing body for their
consideration.
At the conclusion of the hearings the
governing body will consider approval of the budget documents with any approved
changes.
