Just after midnight on March 21st, 2025, Nevada Firefighters were called for a house fire in the 600 block of West Cleveland street. The on duty crew of 4, responded in Engine 219 and found a single story home heavily involved in fire. Crews made a hard interior push and brought the fire under control. Nevada had 3 off duty personnel respond. Deerfield and Milo personnel were called and responded with an Engine and 7 personnel. The home sustained heavy damage. One occupant was transported with unknown injuries. The cause of the fire is most likely discarded smoking materials outside.
