TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closures, Traffic Delays During Work at Route 7/13 in Clinton Beginning March 31

 

 Where: Intersection of Missouri Route 7, Missouri Route 13 and 2^nd Street in Clinton

 When: Beginning week of March 31 for up to three (3) weeks

• 
  Contractor crews repairing concrete in the intersection as a continuation of a resurfacing and intersection improvements project that began last year. Work will be done in two (2) phases.
• 
  
• Beginning week of March 31 (Phase 1):
  • Northbound Missouri Route 7 traffic will be shifted head-to-head into the southbound Route 7/13 lanes
  • Right turn from Route 7 to northbound Missouri Route 13 remains OPEN
  • 2^nd Street CLOSED at Route 7/13
    • Northbound 2^nd Street will have no access to Route 13
    • Southbound Route 13 will have no access to 2^nd Street
  • Once this work is complete, Phase 2 begins:
    • 2^nd Street will have access to Route 7 but no access to northbound Route 13
    • Southbound Route 13 CLOSED at Route 7
      • Southbound Route 13 traffic will be directed along a signed detour along northbound Route 7 to Rives Road to 2^nd Street south to Missouri Route 18 (Ohio Street) then east to Route 7/13/52
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to changes in traffic pattern and any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
