Clifford was born November 16, 1925 in West Boone township, near Drexel, MO, to Walter and Norma (Dawson) Bishop. On May 25, 1946, he married Anna Marie Bartles and they made their home in Main City where they lived most of their married life. Clifford & Annie raised their family on the Bishop family dairy farm, and he milked cows until he retired in 1988. Clifford was a CB enthusiast and was known by many by his handle Bulldog. He also enjoyed being in a bowling league, loved all kinds of animals, especially Boston Terriers, loved spending time with his grandkids, and taking them for rides in the back of his truck, on his three wheeler, and later on his four wheeler. His love for ice cream was unmatched! But Clifford loved people even more and always had time to visit. When Clifford was 40, he gave his life to Jesus, and he really was a changed man. He loved singing the old hymns, listening to country gospel music, and playing his harmonica. He was a faithful member of the Drexel Christian Church for about 40 years.

Preceding Clifford in death were his parents, brother Wayne Bishop, sister-in-law Mary Lou Bishop, wife Anna Bishop, son Dale Lee Bishop, son-in-law Don Martinette, and great grandson Zachary Schrock.

Clifford is survived by his twin daughters, Karen Martinette and Sharen Kern, seven grandchildren, Tim Bishop, Beth Gilkeson and husband Laith, Andrea Bishop, Traci Schrock and husband Shane, Gina Martinette, Kim Mastin and husband Sawyer, David Kern and wife Lynsey, 23 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren.
