78-year-old fisherman was pronounced deceased after he fell from his boat on Stockton Lake and drowned.
The Missouri
State Highway Patrol indicates that around 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, April 6,
emergency crews were called to Stockton Lake with reports of a drowning.
When first
responders arrived, they said they found a 78-year-old Pleasant Hope man had
been fishing off a 2014 Phoenix 921 Pro XP when he fell into the water. He was
unable to make it back into the boat or to shore.
Emergency
crews said the man was pronounced deceased around 2:50 p.m. after he succumbed
to the water. No further information has been released.
