Severe storms damage trees, buildings and cause power outages to parts of the 4-state area. In Lamar and Carl Junction, there were downed power lines and trees. Authorities are asking citizens to be aware of these hazards, not just for safety, but also so crews can get them repaired and cleaned up.
Also reported
was roof and tree damage on Fir Road and CR 303 with the Fir Road Christian
Church suffering significant roof damage. There were no reports of injuries
there. In Carl Junction there was damage reported on Main Street with a good
amount of debris on the sides of roads and in the streets.
