William Noble Sentenced to Eighty-Eight Years in Prison for Sexual Abuse

William Noble, 44 formerly of Clinton, has been sentenced to a total of eighty-eight years in prison for forcible sodomy, three counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, and two counts of incest.

The charges stem from an investigation done by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. A report was made in 2024 regarding sexual abuse that had occurred in the home of William Noble in Henry County during the early to mid 2000s. Throughout the investigation, two more victims were located and disclosed similar acts by the defendant that occurred during relatively the same time period.

The jury trial was conducted in January 2025 in Bates County, Missouri. Henry County Prosecuting Attorney LaChrisha Gray and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Cody Johnson tried the case on behalf of the State of Missouri. Noble was represented by counsel.

After hearing from the victims and other evidence, the jury found Noble guilty of all six counts. On April 4, 2025, Circuit Judge James Kjar held a sentencing hearing. Henry County Prosecutor Gray requested the Court sentence the defendant to life on each count of sodomy.

The Court, after considering the evidence and arguments, sentenced the defendant to twenty years on each count of sodomy and four years on each count of incest. Judge Kjar further ordered the sentences to run consecutive or commonly referred to as “stacked.” Therefore, the Court sentenced Noble to a total of eighty-eight (88) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
