UPDATE: To clarify, only one case is associated with Rinehart Christian Church.
Vernon County Health Department has confirmed 3 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total positive cases to 16. These cases are asymptomatic and are isolated at home. The new cases are not related to one another.
Vernon County Health Dept staff is continuing to investigate and notify close contacts to the positive cases. Those contacts will be quarantined at home.
There is a low risk community exposure related to these cases:
