There will be a Youth Fishing Derby at Kira’s Kingdom Golf Course in Archie, MO on Saturday, Sept 7th. The Derby is free and open to anglers ages 3-15. Registration is from 9:00-9:30am on the morning of the event.
All Derby participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each participant will need to provide their own fishing pole and bait. Limit one pole and one hook per child.
The fishing contest itself will be held from 9:30 a.m. – noon. Prizes will be awarded for the longest fish caught in three age categories.
A lunch of hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be free for participants and their families at noon, and the Awards Ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. Please bring your bug spray and lawn chairs.
