District Semifinals, Adrian 48 Wellington-Napoleon 12
The Adrian Blackhawks defeated the Wellington -Napoleon Tigers in playoff action Friday, November 8th . After falling behind early on Wellington-Napoleon’s first drive of the game, Adrian shut down the Tigers and won easily last Friday, advancing to the district championship game this Friday against Windsor. Windsor comes into the championship game with near equal point differential as Adrian. They will hit the field with revenge on their minds and their eyes set on the State Quarterfinals. The Blackhawks need to have a short memory. The first meeting with Windsor went too easily and they will have to stay tough and focused to avoid a let down. Bundle up and come out to support your Adrian Blackhawks this Friday, November 15 at 7 pm at the George Bruto Athletic Complex.
