Due to extended social distancing measures the Adrian
Community
Library will extend its physical location closure until
further
notice. No fines will accrue during the
closure. The book drop
is available for returning books. The usage of
electronic devices for
OverDrive patrons to read books, audio books, magazines, and
DVD’s is
available. Also the free Wi-Fi connection may be
accessed during the
hours of 5:00 am – 9:00 pm. Looking ahead, the April
Book Sale will be
postponed until a later date. Adrian Community Library will
continue to monitor the COVID-19
public health crisis closely and is prepared to take necessary action to mitigate risks for patrons, staff, and the
community.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
