The Bates County Sheriff’s Office reports emergency personnel has been on the scene of a large explosion South of Adrian at the West Central Grain Elevator, located behind the Adrian Optimist Building.
One person is said to have serious injuries and is being transported by Life Flight to a hospital in Kansas City.
All employees have been accounted for. There is a request that the public avoid this area.
