| The 2019 Adrian Fall Festival is Saturday, October 19th on Main street in Adrian. Bring family and friends and enjoy a day of fun, games, entertainment and shopping. There’s food, craft and product vendors, car, truck, tractor and motorcycle show, train barrel rides for kids and live music. These are just a few of the events happening in Adrian on October 19th. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
