The Gillis Family of Adrian lost their home to fire Tuesday afternoon, the family send a public thank you for all the clothing donations. The family now has the basics to include backpacks and school supplies for the children and personal hygiene products. They are not accepting any furniture or household donations as there is not a place to store this type of donation.
When a storage unit is purchased, the coordinators will make an announcement for household furniture. A love fund for cash donations will be created and 92.1 and the Adrian News-Leader will keep you informed of their needs.
What a great community we live in. As of today Wednesday, January 26th, the Adrian community is asking to put a hold on any donations at this time.
