The Adrian Lions Club is hosting Sight and Safety, 5-7 pm, Sunday, October 31st on Main Street in Adrian. Receive lots of sweets and treats and participate in the pumpkin decorating contest. Prizes will be given in 2 age groups, ages 0-12 and 13-adult. You must have your decorated pumpkin to the Lions Club table by 6:30 to be judged. The Adrian Lions Club will also be accepting donations of old eyeglasses as well as cell phones with chargers. Adrian Lions Club Sight and Safety, 5-7 pm, October 31st on Main Street in Adrian.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
