The 2022 Adrian Veterans Memorial Ceremony will be held May 28th at 10am at the Memorial Site in Adrian. The Adrian VFW Post will host the ceremony. A special Prisoners of War and Missing in Action Ceremony will be held.
The 2022 guest speaker will be 21-year Marine Fighter Pilot Barney Fisher.
The Adrian Veteran Memorial is located ¼ mile east on highway 18 in Adrian. The Veteran Memorial sits on land that now houses a stone which honors Veterans’ heroes and wars regardless of the war service and include name rank, unit, and years of service. Engraved bricks to honor Veterans are on display. To day there are 1021 bricks on display.
If you are interested in purchasing an engraved Veteran Brick, contact Don Ardnt of Adrian at 816-898-2359. Bricks may be ordered at the cost of $50.00 per brick. The sale of Memorial bricks is an ongoing project with bricks added to the memorial continuously.
