Bates County Memorial Hospital recognizes Angelia Cumpton, LPN, as the August employee of the month. Angelia is the Chronic Care Nurse Manager for Family Care Clinics. She has worked for BCMH a total of 26 years, beginning in 1988 as a CNA (for the then maternity unit). She has also worked as an LPN on the inpatient floor, as a nurse for Laura Thiem, DNP, and as triage nurse at Adrian Family Care Clinic, supporting three providers.
Angelia sets the gold standard for a BCMH employee with each and every interaction with patients or staff. She provides excellent services to her patients through her ability to produce quality interactions tailored to the specific needs of each task she completes.
She holds herself accountable for putting in an honest day’s work, prioritizes customer service and promotes positive staff morale. Angelia’s commitment to upholding BCMH values is appreciated by her coworkers and leadership, and she is deserving of this recognition.
