Appleton City’s 25th Annual Christmas in the Country Schedule

Businesses Open with Christmas in the Country Specials.  Those denoted with a * are locations available to pickup a complete schedule, and are participating in a Holiday Basket Drawing.  Holiday Baskets will be out to view and all completed forms must be turned in at the Depot by 3:00 p.m. to be eligible.  Must visit at least three (3) participating locations and obtain a signature to be eligible for the basket drawings!

*9 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.   Appleton City Elementary – Scholastic Book Fair – supporting our children!    School Library

1 – 3:00 p.m.:   Santa’s Workshop (Park Building in Forest Park) Open!  Santa will be taking pictures and have a goody bag ready for each child!  FREE PICTURES, treats and hot cocoa provided!  *Please note – you may take pictures on your own devices with Santa! Sponsored by AC Park Board

4:00 p.m.:         Annual Appleton City Christmas Parade Lineup at Forest Park/Judging at 4:15 p.m.

4:00: – 4:35 p.m.:      Christmas Parade (theme – ‘A Whoville Christmas’) begin and end at Forest Park        Main Street

4:50 p.m.:         Lighting of the “City’s Christmas Tree in Forest Park”                         Forest Park

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.:       Hudson Hustler’s 4-H Club – Baked Potato Bar                           AC School Cafeteria 

Enjoy a delicious loaded baked potato served by the local 4-H club in the cafeteria! $7/potato, includes dessert and drink.  Pre-orders and deliveries available.
