Archie: Chief Operator Elmer Wright Recieves Outstanding Performance Award

The Missouri Water and Waste Department honored Elmer Wright for outstanding performance and dedication during the April Conference in St. Joseph.

Wright, an employee of the Archie Water Plant holds the title of Chief Water Plant Operator for the City of Archie.

Elmer Wright of Butler was recognized for his outstanding performance and dedication to the water industry in the northwest section in Missouri.

The award was presented on April 25th at the Stony Creek Lodge in St. Joseph Missouri, this qualifies Elmer Wright to compete with other districts in Missouri for the Operator of the Year award for the for the entire state. This Award will be presented in August at the State Capitol in Jefferson City.

Elmer Wright, Chief Operator at the Archie Water Plant has served this portion of our community for the past 36 years. Wright has been employed by the Butler, Rich Hill, Amoret , and Joplin Water Districts prior to his transfer to the Archie Water District.
