From the Desk of the Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson
On 11/2/2020 at approximately 0715 hrs. Bates County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Adrian Motel in reference to possible gun shots being heard. On arrival Deputies made contact with multiple people and observed a subject that was wanted on outstanding warrants.
Justin M Edwards w/m 1/28/1989 was arrested on multiple outstanding Bates County warrants to include:
Burglary 2nd degree/Theft of more than $750
Burglary 2nd degree/assault 4th degree
Bond on both warrants totaled $30,000 Cash or surety. Edwards is being held in the Bates County Jail. Deputies were unable to find the source of the sound of gun shots.
