PRESS RELEASE from the Harrisonville Police Department
On Friday, June 24th, at approximately 5:37pm, Harrisonville Police Officers were dispatched to Bookie’s Bar located at 900 N. Commercial St. in reference to a subject shooting a firearm inside the bar.
Upon arrival, Harrisonville Officers were advised that other customers inside the bar had disarmed the subject and held him until the police arrived. Aaron Dial, 49 years old of Harrisonville, MO, was taken into custody. No one was injured in the shooting.
On June 25th, The Cass County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Aaron with Assault 1st degree and Armed Criminal Action. The Judge affixed a $25,000 Cash Only bond to the warrant for Aaron.
