In an effort to address residents’ concerns over area road issues, the Lone Oak Township is calling a meeting to discuss options for road improvement in the Lone Oak Township. They request your presence.
The Township all realize the excessive rain and damages caused by it this past year and hope to be able to discuss what has been done and is being planned to remedy damages on the roads. The meeting will NOT be an “attack” session, but rather open discussion between Township officials and residents of Lone Oak to hopefully find some agreeable solutions for road improvement.
They encourage you to have information available pertaining to specific road repair, SEMA/FEMA application for reimbursement information, Township funds used and funds available, and specific problems your Township might be dealing with. Information is crucial and will help all understand what it takes to try to maintain your roads.
The meeting will be held at the Bates County Commission chambers at 103 W. Dakota (new Administration Building) on Tuesday, November 26, at 7:00 p.m.
