Back-the-Blue Ride for Clinton Officer Gary Michael/August 27

The Back-the-Blue Ride will take place on August 27th from beginning at 10am at the Clinton High School.

Registration for the event will begin at 10am. The fees to register will be $15 for drivers, $5 per passenger, and kids 10 and under are free. When you register, you will be given a wristband. You must have the wristband to ride.

Once everyone is registered, at about 11:30am, the ride will leave the Clinton High School and ride through Truman Lake by the dam, through the marina, and through Clinton. While riding through Warsaw and Clinton, the ride will stop at the Warsaw and Clinton Police Stations so that children can drop off their homemade crafts for the officers.

Multiple Missouri State Troopers and officers will be riding as well. After the Back-the-Blue Ride there will be a Celebration of Life for Officer Michael at Mallard’s Roadhouse from 1pm to 2pm. Local band Dirt Road Addition will be there to play and help with the Celebration of Life.

All proceeds from the Back-the-Blue Ride will benefit the Michael Family and the Clinton Police Department.
