November 1st -15th Coroner Report
9 Nursing Home/Hospice type deaths were reported for the period. Eight did not require further investigation. One case was referred for further investigation by medical record, with the cause of death determined to be natural causes.
One case was referred back to the Bates County Coroner’s office by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office. The case was investigated with the cause of death determined to be natural causes.
On November 1st, the Coroner’s office responded to a rural Butler address; Thomas Craft was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 16:32 with the cause of death determined to be of natural causes.
On November 10th the Coroner’s office responded to Hillcrest Street in Butler. Laverne Gnade was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 18:31 with the cause of death determined to be of natural causes.
