Bates County COVID-19 Cases Rise by 2

July 10, 2020

The Bates County Health Center has confirmed two new positive cases of COVID-19 in Bates County.

These cases include a female and a minor child with an Amoret address.   Bates County Health Center is working to identify and contact anyone that may have come in contact with these individuals which may have put them at risk and will monitor them for any signs and symptoms of illness.  Per CDC guidelines, these individuals are isolated at home and any close contacts have been instructed on self-quarantine protocols.

At this time, Bates County has had 18 positives in which 4 are currently active.

With our numbers for Bates County rising, we hope everyone will continue to practice social distancing, clean/disinfect any high touched surfaces, wash their hands with soap and water routinely, use hand sanitizer if soap and water is not available and avoid touching your face (especially eyes, nose & mouth).  Wearing a mask in public is also recommended.  It is up to each and everyone of us to stop the spread of this disease!
