Bates County Fairboard Steak and Chop Dinner July 8th

The Bates County Fair Board, Steak, and Chop Dinner will be off the grill starting at 5:00 pm from the Bates County Fairgrounds on Friday evening, July 8th.

The cost per person is set at $23.00 for the steak dinner.
The cost per person is set at $18.00 for the chop dinner.

The evening wraps up with the awards presented at 7:00 pm followed by the Junior Livestock Sale promptly at 7:30. We encourage you to attend the Bates County Fair Board Steak and Chop Dinner Friday, Jul 8th . Please stay to support the Junior Livestock Sale to be held at 7:30

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton. In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
